CHARITY CAMPAIGNS
Take part in the "Blood drive for Moonlight" campaign:

The Blood Drive to Save Moonlight Campaign will be held nationwide during the entire week of Thursday, April 17th, 2008 through
Sunday, April 27th, 2008, to correspond with Moonlight's debut night Friday, April 25th. The hope is to promote and bring attention to
Moonlight and, ultimately, ensure its renewal, while benefiting a life saving charitable cause . ALL donations, in the form of blood OR funds,
will be donated ON BEHALF OF MOONLIGHT and CBS, as well as all parties involved, will be notified of your donations in support of the show.

For all the info you need to take part in this great cause, go to the official Moonlight Blood Drive
Campaign website:
http://www.moonlightblooddrive.org/index.html

Also, if you cannot donate blood, you can still make a monetary donation. In order to do this, as wee as to pledge (be it for blood or monetary
donations), you may go directly to
http://www.youchoose.net/campaign/moonlight_season_2
In any case don't forget to fill up and snail mail/e-mail back the Moonlight Blood Drive Validation Form.

Donate to " The Alliance for Children's Rights" in honour of Moonlight:

Now this may not really be a campaign but it is a very worthwhile effort nonetheless, both for our cause and for that of the charity concerned.

The background: Nina Tassler is president of CBS entertainment, and also the person at CBS who has supported Moonlight from the
beginning. She is also a supporter of a charity organisation called "The Alliance for Children's Rights", to the extent that it recently honoured
her  with the National Champion for Children Award.
Here is the organisation's Mission Statement:
"The Alliance for Children's Rights is protecting the rights and futures of abused and
impoverished children throughout Los Angeles County, in hopes of creating a world in which all children are able to have a safe and
permanent family, access to quality health care, a quality education, and all of the support and services they so rightfully deserve."

The plan of action: We can do a good deed and help Moonlight at the same time by making a donation and specifying that it is in honour
of Moonlight and Nina Tassler. Ask them to send an acknowledgement card to: Nina Tassler
(C/O CBS 7800 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA
90036-2112, but they know where to send it). I think that this is a cool
way of getting even more buzz to Nina Tassler's ears, and befitting to our
vampire's motto of helping people!

You can do that either by phone or by snail mail, but do not try to do it from online: they do not (yet) have the option to donate in honour of
someone with this method of payment.

By phone: call (213) 368-6010. Say that you want to make a donation in honour of someone, and you will then speak to a person who will ask
you for your details.  Needless to say they have already have donations made "in honour of Moonlight and Nina Tassler" recently, so that
person will know what you are talking about when you tell them and ask them to send the acknowledgement card. And don't worry, it will only
take 5 minutes.

By snail-mail: you can also snail-mail a check to the address below. Of course include a note specifying that it is in honour of Moonlight and
Nina Tassler. Ask them to send an acknowledgement card.

MANY THANKS TO KANDYE FOR PROVIDING THIS IDEA AND THE RELEVANT INFORMATION!

Medical Emergency:

This is not an effort to help Moonlight get renewed, but it is something important that we can do. The creator of Moonlight, Trevor Munson
needs our help. His mother needs a bone marrow transplant and she has not yet found a match. Registering as a possible donor would be an
opportunity for us to perhaps help her, and also maybe others.
For more information on bone marrow donation and if you would like to register as a possible donor go to The National Bone Marrow Registry
website at:

Artists in Support of Climb Against the Odds- The Breast Cancer Fund

To all my wonderful Friends,

I am honored to be working with my good friend actress Sarah Carter "Shark", on an amazing benefit on the 15th of May @ 8pm at the V Lounge 2020
Wilshire Blvd Santa Monica in aid of The Breast Cancer Fund.

I'm actually yet to meet someone who hasn't been affected directly or indirectly by this terrible disease and thats a frightening fact.

The best news is, you can help!
We would be humbled by your presence at the event.
This is a red carpet event.

There are a number of incredible musical artists performing and a silent auction for a number of art pieces.
100% of ticket sales go directly to The Breast Cancer Fund.

Please help us create as much energy around this as possible by buying your tickets at
www.breastcancerfund.org/climb08/artists
or visit
www.bsidesarahcarter.com/invite.html

If you are unable to attend we urge you to show your support by donation and adding your name to our website as a friend of The Breast Cancer Fund.
PLEASE FORWARD THIS INVITATION ON TO ANYONE WHO MAY BE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING.

Yours Faithfully

Holly Valance"
