So we are starting a campaign targeted at
DIRECTV to ask them to jump in.

exciting new avenue for our campaign!
She contacted their public relations department about the possibility of them supporting us. The woman she spoke to was apparently very interested, but
it's vital that we all follow up with our own emails, phone calls etc. The letter [under this
link] is an email proposal Tracy wrote out for the public relations
department.
It's important however that we follow Tracy's instructions below:
"I sent my email to Dish Network Media Relations and think everyone on the forums should so the same. When doing so, though, it is IMPERATIVE that
everyone is kind and respectful. This isn't something Dish has done before but I got her interest when speaking with her by citing the following:

(1) Facts and Ratings Numbers
(2) the interest by DirecTV
(3) The millions of viewers/subscribers that Dish Network will lose if DirecTV acts and Dish doesn't
(4) Include addresses and ages - demographics help them
These points are crucial so we've got to stress them."
