HELP US HELP YOU MAKE MOONLIGHT A FINANCIAL SUCCESS FOR YOUR NETWORK
WE ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO WORK FOR YOU

Moonlight's fans want to help make Moonlight profitable for the network that adopts the show. By now we
realise that this is the only way for a show  to stay on the air, no matter what its artistic qualities.

We believe that you can use us, the Moonlight fan-base, notably to attract advertisers, if together we can
find better ways for us to help you. We believe that we are not only willing, but also able, to help you in this
venture.

We already have a tradition of writing to companies that advertise during Moonlight to express our
gratitude for their support of the show, and state that we are buying their products in recognition of it. This
is what we are doing right now. But we want to do more than this. We want to find additional ways to make
Moonlight financially attractive.

Notably, we have a strong presence on the Internet, not only on our own forums, but also BEYOND our
fan-base, through our access to MySpace and Facebook. We have access to precisely the target
audience that advertisers tend to be most interested in. This is true as well of our members who do not
belong to this target audience: surprisingly perhaps, they too are very present on the Internet for the sake
of sharing their passion for Moonlight. They constitute just as precious a resource than the people your
advertisers may be
directly interested in.

And we can reach them
BEYOND the Moonlight fan-base, thanks to MySpace and Facebook.

Although it is difficult to estimate our exact numbers online, the fact that Moonlight was voted "Best New
Drama" in the People's Choice Award by 10 million votes, with voting taking place on a site that allowed
people to vote only once a day is, we believe, an indication that our community is not merely vocal, but
also numerous enough for your advertisers to find our offer attractive enough to support our show.

Few other shows than Moonlight can offer such fan-bases, irrespective of their ratings: It takes a cult
favourite.

Surely you can find a way to use us as a resource.

There is a general feeling among the Moonlight fans that the previous network regarded its fan-base more
like an annoyance than a resource. Unfortunately, fan-bases suffer from bad P.R. This, presumably, is the
reason why, but we want to change this perception.
We want to do MORE than telling the network itself how much we love the show. We want to work
constructively with you.
Moonlight is an amazing show with a lot of potential. The media, as surprised as we are by its cancellation,
are making this clear to the general public (see for example Matt Rousch's article "
Finale Fever: The
Critic's Notebook").
In addition to its obvious artistic potential, Moonlight has something more to offer a network that other
shows do not: the eagerness of its large fan-base to make the show a financial success for this network, by
any means the latter will suggest.

We have a diverse (predominantly female) fan-base. We believe that this is a strength: with this
sociological diversity comes a diversity of skills that you can draw upon. If you doubt this, visit the fan-art
threads of the forums, and look at the banners (see links below. For obvious reasons, they happen to be
less than peaceful at present, but that is beside the point). Also look at the fan videos. This is only a small
sample of the skills that you could put to work for your network.

What other company can have access to a large number of people willing to work for it for free?

If this message makes it to the executive level of the hierarchy: "touch base" with us by any means you
wish. We need to know
from you how we can work with you.

(As the show has recently been cancelled, they are naturally far less than peaceful at present, but that is
beside the point)
